clin_sig_authority_calls.csv

Identity

Row model ClinSigAuthorityCallRow (just_dna_format.concordance)
Becomes clin_sig_authority_calls.parquet
Authored or derived derived — an enricher pass writes it; an author corrects it via overrides.csv
Draftable no
Written and checked by just-dna-enricher enrich (concordance) from clinvar, civic, pubmind, checking clinical_significance — the per-authority calls are the detail rows behind each concordance verdict, written by the same pass so a verdict and the calls it was computed from cannot disagree
Natural key variant_key, genotype, authority
Fact signature yes — its sidecar carries one
In the attestation binding no

Columns

Column Type Required Values Meaning
variant_key str required The subject's variant_key; joins clin_sig_concordance.csv
genotype str required The authored genotype; the second half of the join onto clin_sig_concordance.csv
authority str required Which annotation authority this call is from: clinvar|pubmind|manual (open). An authoritative ANNOTATION source in the sense ClinVar is one — never resolution.csv's authority, which names whoever supplied a coordinate.
status str required one of: no_record, recorded, unchecked What happened when this authority was consulted: recorded|no_record|unchecked. no_record is an established absence — asked, and it has nothing here. unchecked is nobody-asked: no snapshot was provisioned, or one was present and not queryable. The two are never interchangeable, and neither is agreement.
clin_sig str | None optional one of: affects, association, benign, conflicting, drug_response, likely_benign, likely_pathogenic, not_provided, other, pathogenic, protective, risk_factor, uncertain_significance The authority's classification, normalized to this format's own vocabulary by the one shared significance normalizer every snapshot builder calls. Empty on no_record and on unchecked: an unknown is withheld, never written down as a negative.
clin_sig_raw str | None optional The authority's verbatim wording (Conflicting_classifications_of_pathogenicity, Uncertain significance), kept so the normalization above stays auditable and a term this release does not model is still visible.
confidence str | None optional How much the authority stands behind this call, in ITS OWN units and unconverted — ClinVar's gold-star count, a miner's evidence-depth count. A string because the instruments are not the same quantity, so a numeric column would invite an arithmetic nobody can justify. Meaningless without confidence_unit beside it.
confidence_unit str | None optional Which instrument confidence is measured on, e.g. 'review_stars'. Required whenever confidence is set: a magnitude with no unit beside it is a number nothing can read, and this format has paid for that once already on weight.
dataset str | None optional Which release of the authority answered, e.g. 'clinvar_2026-08-01'. A FACT, on the rule every sibling applies: two releases are two facts about the world.
checked_at str | None optional ISO-8601 UTC timestamp of the consultation that wrote this row. Canonicalized on load, and outside the fact set for the reason fetched_at is outside every sibling.

Generated from the row model at build time — reference.authoring_reference(), the same answer describe_table gives an authoring tool. Nothing on this page is hand-kept.
